Big Bang Theory rocks!!! Not sure who the writers are, but we would be instant friends.

  2. Well, have you ever read the Vanity Cards that flash up for a split second after each episode? They are by show creator Chuck Lorre (also responsible for Two and a Half Men, among a lengthy sitcom resume) and they are hilarious: http://www.chucklorre.com/

  3. Alrighty here it goes:

I am Jules - I live in Santa Barbara, CA and even though I've been here for 8 years I still can't believe that I'm allowed to say that and have it be true.

I majored in Music and Theology in college but have recently decided that I really have more of a calling towards visual arts and am still trying to figure out exactly what that means. I love photography, (I am attempting to take a picture every day this year and have them posted at dillydallydailies.wordpress.com), printmaking, drawing and have tried a bit of sculpture, so on and so forth-- but my first love is oil painting. I also am completely fascinated by glass work and hope to learn how to blow glass some day soon.

Even though I've been out of college for 4 years I have just recently entered the "freshman stage" of changing my major (career in this case) every few weeks... right now I am looking into either a) working at pixar or b) becoming a high school art teacher. We'll see how these go and what I come up with next week.

hmmm.... I like walks of all lengths on the beach, flowers, puppies, jello, hanging lights, bright colors, the feeling of sticking your hand in a big jar of dried beans, laughter, vacation days, dreaming and Levi's music :) (had to throw that in there)

Yay for the getting -to-know-you post! :)

    Jules

  4. Hello hello, as you may guess, I'm Jon. I mainly reside in London when I'm not back in my hometown over holidays. I like stuff. Sometimes I eat stuff, I also drink stuff. I love music, but am about as musically talented as a shoe. I tried to write a song once, but it was shit. That's about it really!

  5. @xylojules After I watched the movie Three to Tango... i fell in love with glass Blowing. Would love you do it. Used to say that's what I wanted to do when I grew up. I would literally pay admission into six flags and not ride anything. If you needed me I could be found in the glass blowers shop watching that guy make hummingbirds and dragons.... allllllll day long! My friends would get so mad at me. but that's the only part of Six Flags i enjoy.

  6. @Maliciousintent I had no idea they had glass blowing at six flags -- I grew up down the block from the on in CA and never thought to look.

And I think Three to Tango made me love glass blowing a little more too :)

  7. Hello. <waves> I'm Matthew.
I traveled around with Levi last fall as his tour manager & merch guy and had the pleasure of meeting some of you along the way. I sorta live in Nashville, though I'm hardly ever there. I enjoy the music business although everyone in this business is mental. Anything else people want to know about me, feel free to ask.

Matthew, I think you add some details about how you have family out in .....Canada. I won't mention where exactly and shame you LOL.

Also, nice to see you on the board. And just incase you do in fact recall who I am, which I doubt, you asked me to send you video that I took of Levi in Toronto. I would have but it was just so fantastically crappy in how it came out that I refused to send it along to anyone. Sorry about that. I do have a picture of you that turned out pretty decent. :D

  12. My family lives in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Since they are not actually Canadian, I am not ashamed in the least. Matter of fact, I am a proud fan of the Saskatchewan Roughriders, a team in the Canadian Football League.

@Alycia, if you would be so kind as to forward that picture you have of me: matthew@sinclairmanagement.com
Thanks. Then please delete all copies of it that you have. :) Just kidding.

@Bill Actually, *I* left Levi! It was getting kind of cramped in the old tour bus with Levi, myself, AND Gary. Plus, I wanted to give the guys some "bonding" time before Gary had to go back to the UK. Haha...in reality, I was flying up to Canada (see above) to surprise my family for American Thanksgiving. My mother was cooking Thanksgiving dinner for the first time since they moved to Canada because my little sister is going to college here in the states, so she had Thanksgiving break off. I couldn't let her be the sole spoiled recipient of my mother's excellent cooking, so I weaseled my way into Saskatoon (I've had problems with Canadian immigration since the tour - THAT is a story for another day) and surprised my mom. :)

@Amanda You suck. I had buried the memory of that defeat.

    @thereisnotomorrow Thanks for the welcome!

@ Matthew - I shall work at finding that. We're mid computer switches and file burning. Gimme a couple, but I'll be on it.

  14. Figured it was time to give this a little bump - I keep thinking that one day soon this board will ignite with activity.

In case anyone has been wondering: My recovery is going well. I have not died since September & the blood clots in my lungs are officially *GONE*!

  16. Thanks, Levi. I'm quite happy with it... though somehow it ended up meaning that my body thinks I'm pregnant. I've been living through the morning sickness for the last few weeks. In case anyone is confused: NOT pregnant. It's supposedly a side effect that very very very few women get from taking Coumadin, which I will continue taking for the next 6 to 12 months. Let's all hope for 6. :)

Nonetheless, I am back in school & working on my charity work & planning to attend Sakura-Con & taking my kids to Disney World - it'll be a great year.
